ELEC 8850 - Introduction to Diagnostic Radiology

2 credit hours

The Diagnostic Radiology course is designed to provide third and fourth year medical students a comprehensive introduction to the field of diagnostic radiology and basic understanding of interventional radiology. The course will cover the various imaging modalities, their indications and potential complications. Imaging anatomy and important pathology will be reviewed. The course is based upon guidelines of the American College of Radiology (ACR). Successful completion of all OMS I and OMS II curricular requirements.
