ELEC 6211 - Spanish for Health Professions I

1.5 credit hours

Medical Spanish is offered as four courses: MS 1 (4 hours), MS 2 (20 hours), MS 3 (20 hours), and MS 4 (12 hours). The courses accommodate students on the Missouri campus at beginning, intermediate (2), and advanced levels depending on fluency. The courses provide students with knowledge of the basic structures of Spanish language and the specialized medical vocabulary needed to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients.
