AUDE 6370 - Vestibular Assessment and Treatment I

3 credit hours

This course is designed to provide students with knowl-edge of the anatomy and physiology of the peripheral and central vestibular systems, as well as an overview of human equilibrium systems. This course will also provide students with a comprehensive overview of vestibular assessment and evaluation procedures as well as vestibular rehabilitation protocols and proce-dures. Students will learn how to perform a vestibular evaluation and perform certain vestibular rehabilitation procedures. Includes laboratory requirement. (3 credits: 2 credit lecture, 1 credit lab)
