AUDE 5400 - Speech Perception

An overview of the acoustics of speech and topics related to speech perception. Areas of study include normative, articulatory, and acoustic phonetics; methods of the acoustic analysis of speech; models and theories of speech perception; and multimodal process-ing of speech. Includes laboratory requirement. (2.5 credits: 2 credit lecture, 0.5 credit lab)
