RESH 8210 - Quantitative Research Methods

This course introduces students to quantitative research methodology, including study design, measurement, internal and external validity, data collection strategies, and foundational descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Students learn to formulate research questions, select appropriate quantitative designs, and interpret analytic results. The course also introduces considerations relevant to integrating multiple forms of data when appropriate to the research question. This course content emphasizes practical research skills that prepare students to develop a methodologically appropriate and rigorous plan for a quantitative study.
