DMSC 7005 - Foundations for Doctoral Study

2 credit hours

This course provides doctoral learners with instruction on the use of the Canvas learning management system, Google suite, an introduction to AMA writing style and formatting, how to use the Still Memorial online library services, using the University Writing Center, proper use of AI in scholarly work, and will receive a primer on the capstone process and learning to appraise research literature. Students also learn effective time management and work life balance skills to ensure success in the DMSc program. Pre-requisite for: DMSC7030 Corequisite: DMSC7000. 10 weeks
