Students examine healthcare operations using an integrated framework that includes financial management, supply chain management, process and quality improvement, facilities management, and systems and technology. Learners apply these frameworks to operational challenges in healthcare enterprises and develop an operational management plan that integrates financial, logistical, quality, and technological considerations. The course includes a fieldwork assignment that students complete in person or virtually within a healthcare organization.
