MDOH 8408 - Integrated Person Centered-Care

This course is designed to fully integrate scientific practice, biomedical sciences, and dental sciences into the delivery of oral health care, equipping students with the skills necessary to assess and address the health care needs of patients within the scope of general dentistry across all stages of life, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, geriatric patients, and patients with special health care needs. The course builds upon foundational knowledge and competencies introduced in the D1 fall and spring, D2 fall and spring, and D3 fall and spring semester courses, reinforcing evidence-based, patient-centered decision-making in clinical settings and preparing students for practice-ready entry into general dentistry.
