MHAD 6050 - Managing Human Resources

Students examine workforce planning, recruitment, hiring, supervision, motivation, training, and performance evaluation for staff in healthcare organizations. Learners develop strategies to lead and manage both individual employees and interprofessional teams. Students also apply approaches for addressing difficult or under-performing employees. The course includes a fieldwork assignment that students complete in person or virtually within a healthcare setting.
