DHSC 6005 - Critical Thinking and Writing for Professionals

This course helps establish a solid foundation of writing skills and familiarizes students with the writing policies and expectations of CGHS. Course content addresses scholarly writing elements, including annotated bibliographies, APA format and style, effective use of evidence, literacy skills, academic integrity, review and critique of literature, and rhetoric. The student will examine the characteristics of critical writing assessed throughout the program to identify and improve knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, and synthesis of content.
