DHAD 8050 - Research Methods

3 credit hours

Students examine fundamental techniques in the research process and the design of empirical studies, including scientific thinking, critical evaluation of literature, problem identification, and development of purpose statements and hypotheses. Students review basic statistical concepts, institutional review board (IRB) requirements, and ethical considerations in conducting research, and interpret basic statistical analyses relevant to health administration and doctoral projects.
