DPTP 8818 - Professional Practice

This course begins with a study of the history of the physical therapy profession and the American Physical Therapy Association. Other topics in this course include: Beyond Vision 2020 and direct access; The Five Roles of The Physical Therapist; Ethics; Education, Licensure, Continuing Competence, Specialization and Expertise; Patient-Centered Care; Cultural Competency; and Social Justice Issues.
