MSBS 5060 - Medical Physiology III

3 credit hours

Physiology includes the study of the normal function of each of the organ systems in the human body. Emphasis is placed on basic principles and mechanisms that have application throughout all areas of medical practice. Physiology content includes cellular, autonomic, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, acid-base, gastrointestinal, and endocrine physiology. Students will attend select physiology lectures via Zoom with the residential PA students. Problem-based assignments specifically for the MSBS students emphasize concepts and clinical correlations.
