MSBS 5400 - Microbiology and Infectious Diseases

3 credit hours

This course provides a foundation in the basic concepts of microbiology. Emphasis is placed on studying gram-negative, gram-positive bacteria, virology, fungi, and parasites. Students will attend select microbiology lectures via Zoom with the residential PA students. Problem-based assignments specifically for the MSBS students emphasize concepts and clinical correlations.
