MSBS 5600 - Medical Writing for Health Professionals

Health professional students must be able to present their work clearly and efficiently. This course examines, in practical terms, the elements required for successful publication of a journal article or review. This course encourages good writing skills through choosing better words, writing better sentences, and preparing better tables, graphs, and photographs. All students are required to develop and submit a quality paper that meets the requirements for publication in a peer-reviewed professional or biomedical journal. The learner will demonstrate the ability to effectively organize and structure information in written form.
