MSNP 5700 - Critical Issues in Strategic Nursing Leadership

3 credit hours

Students analyze critical issues in nursing leadership that affect nurses and their ability to provide patient care in current and future healthcare systems, and in diverse communities and populations. Major theories and significant conceptualizations of nursing and leadership, related sciences, and supporting interdisciplinary models and concepts are used to explain, support, and promote evidence-based practice, whole person healthcare, quality, safety, and the achievement of positive patient outcomes.
