OTDE 6520 - Practice Immersion: Behavioral Health & Psychosocial Approaches

The overall purpose of this course is to prepare the student to assess and provide occupation-based interventions that address the psychosocial needs of clients across the lifespan. Students will be able to design and deliver occupational therapy services based upon appropriate theoretical models and frames of reference that can be used across a variety of systems and settings, including but not limited to behavioral health/psychiatric, community and education based settings.
