PT 838 - Capstone Project

3 credit hours

The capstone project is an integration of the many course experiences the student has been exposed during their matriculation as a student. The capstone project provides each student with an opportunity to demonstrate his or her knowledge and skills in an Evidence-in-Practice project. The final product for the course is a manuscript, which is scrutinized in the same fashion as a submission of manuscript to a journal. This is the final course taken in our curriculum. Prerequisite: HP800 Medical Informatics or HP 805 - tDPT Foundations , HP 808 - Statistics , HP 809 - Quantitative Research Methods & Designs , HP 811 - Evidence-Based Practice in Physical Therapy 1  and HP 812 - Evidence-Based Practice 2 .
